The Information Technology Center (ITC) is located on the first floor of the Lenn and Dixie Hannon Library and consists of one general purpose lab and one electronic classroom (EC). It serves current SOU students, faculty and staff with general software applications and research needs. |

The ITC is connected to the campus network, but emphasizes software related to research (i.e. library catalogs and journal databases) and has easy access to librarians and research specialists. |

The ITC general purpose lab has 30 windows computers and is open all Hannon Library hours. The EC is open for general use whenever classes are not in session and has 32 windows computers (including one instructor's workstation connected to a projector). All the computers have LCD monitors, sound and DVD/CD-RW drives. |

There are 3 group workstations that have large monitors and are at large tables suitable for group work. There are also 3 language stations with Sony Soloist software, headphones and microphones. The ITC has one flatbed scanner, one color printer and one high speed laser printer. |
