Article Scanning Service

SOU faculty who would like to provide electronic access to a course reading may do so by attaching a link to an online article in one of the library's databases, or to a resource that has been scanned from a hardcopy document.

Please check the Hannon Library Catalog (searching by the title of the journal) to see whether we already have access to the electronic version of the article. If so, you can create a stable URL to that article. If you need any help with this, contact Emily Miller-Francisco.

The library will scan paper materials and email an electronic copy to the instructor for posting to their Blackboard class site. Allow one week for processing. Documents should be high quality, 8.5 X 11 inches, and comply with copyright guidelines. For more information about scanning services, contact Bill Herman, Reserves Coordinator (552-6829).

Please fill out and sign a Scanning Service form (available in Adobe Acrobat format, or at the Circulation counter) and deliver with your materials to Bill Herman.
