Off-Campus Database Access

Use the Library's Web pages just as you would if you were in the Library. All of the links to databases within the Library's Web site are designed to be used off campus. In this example, we are going to click on Academic Search Premier.

NOTE: There are known problems with this system.

Students: your username is the account name that you use for your SOU computer account. For more information, see the Student Computing Webpage.

Faculty: your username is what you use to login to the campus network from your office. If you need help in determining this call the Help Desk at 541/552-6900.

If all is successful, you should see the database you were trying to connect to. In this example it is Academic Search Premier.
