The collections of a library endure from generation to generation. They gather the wisdom of a culture and grow over time as new ideas and discoveries are documented and new works created. Likewise, the Hannon Library will soon be expanded and renovated to accommodate the library's growing information services and collections.
Ready access to the campus computer network and the Internet will be available in all seating areas throughout the library. In addition, multimudia classrooms and computing laboratories will give faculty an interactive teaching environment and provide valuable learning opportunities for students. The combined Special Collections and University Archives will feature distinctive reading areas and special climate-controlled storage for these valuable materials. Through its collections, services, and state-of-the-art facilities, the expanded Hannon Library will support scholarly inquiry and lifelong learning.
Now we are asking for your participation. Join us in creating a University Library for the twenty-first century by contributing to the Friends of Hannon Library Legacy program. Your generosity will help us build a library that meets Southern Oregon University's highest academic and research needs.
To participate, print, complete and mail the contribution form, or give online with the SOU Foundation. If you already have contributed to this valuable project, we extend out sincere appreciation. Thank you for your consideration.
