Writing Center Tutors


I'm a biochemistry major from the East Bay Area. In the future, I would like go into pharmaceutical research. My hobbies include swimming, reading, cooking, and traveling. Despite being a science major, writing has always been a strong ability of mine, and I enjoy assisting my peers in this life-long skill. 


A native Seattleite drawn to Ashland because of the culture, I am glad to be working here at the Writing Center. This June, I will graduate with a Bachelor of Arts in English Literary Studies and a minor in Shakespeare Studies. When I'm not in class or here in the Writing Center, I enjoy reading, writing, cooking, hiking, fueling up with copious amounts of coffee, and having all sorts of adventures.


I am currently a Junior, majoring in English with a concentration in Literary Studies. Considering my major, it's easy to guess that I enjoy reading; after all, it comes with the territory. However, I also love hiking, swimming, and aspire to one day travel the world.


I am a business hospitality major and an EMDA minor. I’m from Bend, Oregon and I enjoy speaking Japanese, reading, writing and the internet. I look forward to working with you.


I am a Political Science major with a minor in Biology. I enjoy cooking, working with ASSOU, and hanging out with friends. My hometown is Porterville, California.


I'm a sophomore and a business major. When I have free time I enjoy traveling.


I am a second year student at SOU. My long obsession with reading and writing has led me toward being an English major with a focus on the creative aspects of writing. I am always reading one thing or another, from non-fiction to poetry collections, so if you ever need a recommendation for literature, I can also help with that.


I am currently a senior majoring in English with a concentration in Literary Studies. I am originally from Atlanta, Georgia, but I have lived here in Ashland for two years, and it already feels like home. I am a McNair Scholar dedicated to achieving my academic goals and passionate about helping my peers succeed academically.


I’m a sophomore from Menlo Park, CA.  My major is criminology/criminal justice, and my minor is photography.  In my free time, I enjoy swimming and photography.

I am the Lead Tutor for the Learning Commons, and I earned my B.A. in English Literature with a minor in Classical Civilizations from UC Davis.  I will graduate from SOU in spring with an M.A. in Mental Health Counseling, and in my free time I enjoy reading, running, going to the movies, and anything to do with Sherlock Holmes.
