Journal Articles:
- ERIC (Educational Information Resource Center)
ERIC is the primary database for educational research. The database is supported by the U.S. Department of Education, the National Library of Education, and the Office of Educational Research and Improvement. ERIC retrieves full-text articles and unpublished documents related to teaching and education in all disciplines. - Education Full Text
This database is a great complement to the ERIC database for educational research, providing access to magazine and journal articles in the field of education and related topics—many articles are available full-text. - Educator's Reference Desk
Educator’s Reference Desk is a primarily here to access the collection of lesson plans and other educational resources. AskERIC is also accessible from here, but it is highly recommended that you use the ERIC database because AskERIC is an index to citations and does not provide any full-text access to articles or ERIC documents. - Middle Search Plus
Middle Search Plus contains full-text for 140 popular, middle school magazines. Full-text is also available for thousands of biographies, historical essays, and primary source documents including Essential Documents in American History, the Funk & Wagnall's New World Encyclopedia, the American Heritage Dictionary, the Encyclopedia of Animals, and an Image Collection of 107,135 photos, maps and flags.
