• Academic Search Complete
  This huge multi-disciplinary database has full-text for over 5300 journals, including over 4400 that are peer-reviewed. It also has abstracts for an additional 9300 journals. This database is a good starting point for many research projects.
• MLA International Bibliography
  The MLA Bibliography is a full-text and citation database for English and foreign language literature, criticism and linguistics. It also covers folklore; literary theory; dramatic arts (film, radio, television, theater); and the teaching of literature and language. Has links to SOU journals, SOU and Summit library catalogs, and Interlibrary loan. Covers 1963 to the present.
• JSTOR: Arts & Sciences I & II
  These Collections include the complete back runs of 243 titles in several disciplines. It includes many of the core research and society published journals in economics, history, political science, sociology, archaeology, and African, Latin American, Middle Eastern, and Slavic Studies, as well as in other key fields in the humanities and social sciences. This collection also includes a selection of titles in the more science-oriented fields of ecology, mathematics, and statistics.
• LexisNexis Academic: News
  Lexis-Nexis Academic News accesses a comprehensive spectrum of full-text information from national and regional newspapers, wire services, broadcast transcripts, international news, as well as non-English language sources. In the Guided News Search, select a news category (general news, world news) and a source (major papers, ethnic news) and enter search terms in the search boxes. You may also select individual titles from the source list.
• Hispanic American Periodicals Index
  The Hispanic American Periodicals Index is a citation and full-text database for Latin American and Caribbean Studies, especially for culture, history, literature and criticism. Time coverage varies by journal title; some go back to the late 1960’s. Searches and/or results may be limited by language, or results may be limited to materials about Latinos in the U.S. Use the link to “List of Journals at SOU” to find the journals cited in HAPI.
• Clase and Periodica
  Clase and Periodica is a citation index of Latin American and Caribbean journals. It covers humanities and social sciences (1975-present), and science and technology (1978-present). It is recommended for finding citations to materials in Spanish. Searches may be language-limited. Use “Find at SOU” links or direct links to the SOU library catalog or Inter-Library loan to access articles. There is no full-text in this database.
• Fuente Academica
  Fuente Academica provides full text (PDF files) of articles from 260 Latin American and Spanish scholarly journals. It is multi-disciplinary, with articles from the early 1980’s to the present. It is recommended for finding full-text scholarly articles in Spanish.
