This index includes over 80,000 citations to books, articles and government publications relating to the culture, history, and contemporary life of Native North Americans, from the 16C to the present. This database has several distinct modules. Two important ones are "News" and "Legal Research." "News" has more than 350 newspapers full-text from the U.S. and around the world as well as news magazines, broadcast transcripts, etc. "Legal" has federal and state case law, federal codes and regulations, and state codes among a host of other legal materials. - SODA: First Nations Collection
The First Nations Collection of the Southern Oregon Digital Archives contains full-text of documents, books, and articles relating to the indigenous peoples of this Siskiyou-Cascade-Klamath bioregion and adjacent areas. Hannon Library has collected and scanned materials about tribes in southwestern Oregon and northern California, including the Coos, Hupa, Karuk, Klamath, Modoc, Takelma, Shasta, Siuslaw, Cow Creek Band of Umpqua, Yahooskin, and Yurok nations.
