  This is the OHSU Library's Webpage of "Off-Campus Resources for the School of Nursing." It is for OHSU distance education students only.
• Health Source (Consumer and Academic editions)
  Retrieves citations, many with abstracts and full-text, for general knowledge and non-technical articles, reviews, and reports from selected health magazines and journals, and selected books and reference materials. SOU Library holdings are indicated for journals. May be limited to full text and scholarly journals. In English. Results may be printed, downloaded to disc, or e-mailed. Uses Ebsco Interface.
• LexisNexis Academic
  This database has several distinct modules. Two important ones are "News" and "Legal Research." "News" has more than 350 newspapers full-text from the U.S. and around the world as well as news magazines, broadcast transcripts, etc. "Legal" has federal and state case law, federal codes and regulations, and state codes among a host of other legal materials.
• MEDLINE
  Retrieves citations, many with abstracts, and SOU Library holdings for articles, announcements, reports, and reviews from selected medical, dental, and nursing journals indexed by the National Library of Medicine. Most of the articles are written in technical and scientific language for medical professionals. May be limited by English or non-English language, document type, including those about clinical trials, or SOU Library holdings. Uses the FirstSearch interface (available at SOU in English, Spanish or French), which includes a link for SOU Inter-Library Loan.
• Alt HealthWatch
  Retrieves citations and full-text for journals, reports, proceedings, newsletters, and pamphlets focusing on complementary, holistic, or integrated approaches to health care and wellness. Uses the Ebsco interface.
