Government Publications
This collection includes 2,500 difficult-to-find local, county, state, and federal agency documents relating to this unique bioregion.

Books
Volumes cover exploration and settlement, the indigenous First Nations, culture, business, ecology, and travel. The Joaquin Miller Collection contains more than fifty books (mostly first edition) by and about Miller, the “Poet of the Sierras.”

Newspapers
An extensive collection of historic and contemporary regional newspapers and tribal newsletters document times, places, and activities.

Maps
Historic and contemporary topographic, geologic, street and road maps are listed in our Maps of Oregon and northern California or in the George Duggar Map Collection Finding Aid.
