The Adrienne Lee Ferté Memorial Collection contains over 1,000 books of poetry with a focus on works by Oregon and Northwest poets including William Stafford, Madeline DeFrees, Ursula LeGuin, Carolyn Kizer, and Vern Rutsala. Many of the volumes are signed first editions and chapbooks. The collection also contains two boxes of manuscript materials including correspondence with poets.
Thomas Ferté, Professor Emeritus of English at Western Oregon University and alumnus of SOU, gave the collection to Hannon Library in 2000 in honor of his daughter, Adrienne Lee, who died in 1985.
